- As a result, the scheduled public sale did not take place
YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — In a spectacular display of demand and enthusiasm within the digital art industry, the highly anticipated Azuki Elementals NFT minting event experienced an astounding sell-out. In a record-breaking time of under 15 minutes, the sale raised an astounding $38 million.
This remarkable feat suggests, that the non-fungible token (NFT) industry is far from dead. Moreover, it further solidifies Azuki’s position as a prominent player in this burgeoning sector.
The project took to Twitter to announce that the collection had sold out and there would be no public sale. The post also informed that trading of the collectibles from new NFT collection would start soon.
Azuki Elementals made its debut during the exclusive “Follow the Rabbit” event held in Las Vegas. The company reserved a portion of the 20,000 NFTs exclusively for Azuki holders. These fortunate individuals received an airdrop of NFTs representing the elements of earth, fire, lightning, and water.
The remaining NFTs were made available for purchase. However, Azuki NFT had a privileged 10-minute presale minting opportunity. Thereafter, BEANZ holders (another derivative NFT collection from Azuki) gained access to the drop.

No public sale takes place of the Azuki Elementals collection
To take part in the presale, both Azuki and BEANZ holders were required to submit a deposit of 2 ETH. Because the immense demand generated an astonishing sell-out of the entire collection in less than 15 minutes, the public sale redundant became unnecessary.
However, the mint did not go without glitches. Several hopefully collectors were unable to get their token, forcing the project to offer an apology.
“We hear your feedback loud and clear. The mint experience was not up to the Azuki standard… We were hoping for a smooth and streamlined experience from mint straight to reveal, but that didn’t happen,”
Location Tba, one of the co-founders of the project wrote.
Furthermore, the project also tweeted about what seemed like an upcoming drop of “green beans” Some users speculated that it could be a pill for the Azukis to consume and transform, like the Mutant Ape serums from Yuga Labs.
While details about the airdrop remain shrouded in secrecy, the announcement has sparked anticipation and speculation among enthusiasts, eager to uncover what lies in store for them. The new Elementals came in the form of red beans before their reveal.
In a landscape characterized by rapid innovation and uncharted territories, the extraordinary sell-out of the Azuki Elementals NFT minting event is a testament to the limitless possibilities and growing demand within the NFT ecosystem.
